Traditional Funerals

Traditional Funerals

Regardless if you choose to have a visitation, traditional funeral, or graveside ceremony, we work closely with your family to create a personalized farewell. We understand that every family’s needs are different, which is why we offer flexible, affordable options and compassionate guidance to help every step of the process.

Traditional Funeral Service

Funeral services can be held in your synagogue, our chapel, or directly at the cemetery. We work closely with you to design a service that truly reflects your loved one’s life

Graveside Service

A graveside or committal service is usually held immediately after the funeral and offers a meaningful moment of closure. Once the casket is lowered into the grave, traditionally, the mourners will place a shovel of dirt in the grave.

Reception

A funeral reception, Seudat Havra'ah (Meal of Condolence), can be held in a variety of locations, including one of our own facilities, your synagogue, or the home of the bereaved. It is important to note that while traditional in many Jewish communities, not all families may hold this gathering in the same way, as customs can vary.
